KOGI EAST SENATE RACE: HABIB USMAN BACKS AJAKA, URGES APC UNITY
Hon. Habib Usman has declared his support for Murtala Yakubu Ajaka as the contest for the Kogi East Senatorial seat gathers momentum within the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement, Usman described Ajaka as a dependable and people-focused political figure, noting that he has consistently demonstrated courage and commitment to justice, equity, and the welfare of the people, even in challenging political circumstances.
He said Kogi East requires a representative with a deep understanding of the district’s challenges and the capacity to deliver effective representation at the national level, adding that Ajaka’s leadership qualities, grassroots appeal, and development-driven approach set him apart in the race.
According to Usman, Ajaka has continued to inspire confidence among youths, women, and community leaders across the district through his humanitarian efforts and sustained engagement with the people.
“As someone whose political journey reflects loyalty, courage and service, he represents the kind of leadership Kogi East needs at this time,” he stated.
Usman called on APC members and supporters across the district to rally behind Ajaka’s aspiration, stressing that unity within the party would be critical to securing victory and advancing development in the area.
He expressed optimism that Ajaka, if elected, would provide quality representation, attract impactful projects, and strengthen Kogi East’s voice in the Senate.
The APC chieftain also urged stakeholders and the electorate to support Ajaka, whom he described as a leader committed to serving with integrity, dedication and clear vision.
